The Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) was established by Decree No. 49 of 1993, promulgated on June 10, and gazetted on August 9, of that year.

The Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) is a body corporate with perpetual succession and common seal, a legal entity charged with the regulation, control and supervision of the Computing Profession and practice in the country.

The Council in a collaborative project with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), is looking to recruit competent professionals who will be part of the Examination Monitoring team at all JAMB Computer Based Test (CBT) Centres in Nigeria during the 2020 Registration and Examination periods of January 13 to February 17, 2020 (5 weeks) and March 14 to April 4, 2020.

LOCATION:

All CBT Centres in the 36 states of the Federation including the FCT, Abuja

POSITIONS:

CPN STATE TECHNICAL ADVISERS (CPN-STA)
The CPN-STA Shall control monitoring activities within a given state
Visit each CBT Centre in the State.
Ensure that all CCTV inventory are done at all centres in the state.
Review all Backup and ensure all uploads to the cloud is done.
Report to the CPN JAMB project team.

QUALIFICATION:
Minimum of  HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Post graduate qualification will be added advantage
Must be a financial up-to-date Member of CPN
Must have a minimum of 5 years professional working experience
Must Reside in the designated state

CPN TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS (CPN-TA)
Technical Assistants shall be assigned to a CBT centres to perform onsite technical operations.
Carry out an inventory of CCTV installed at the CBT Centre
Do Physical backup of video recordings daily, (as directed by CPN project team).
Carry out physical inspection of the CCTV installed
Submit a daily incidence report
Report any Network related issue to the CPN-STA
Will report to the CPN-STA

QUALIFICATION
Minimum of  OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Must be at least a Graduate-Member of CPN, and/or registered member of NCS
Must have System/Network Administration skills
Must be able to Manage CCTV camera and DVR equipment, Perform and Test Backups.
Must Reside in the designated state/LGA/town
